Lol,

My point was a plane at 150 before update should cover the equal distance in the same time as another plane flying after the update, also travelling at 150. If it doesn't the physics have changed, as I believe they have. I'll try this in a real game if I can get one where there are no reds.

I hope Luna weighs in, as I believe she used the same combination (practice map, given laden Airco).

It makes me wonder if 'drag' is part of the physics. If so the difference could be the increased drag due to the increased surface area of the planes.

What is the altitude of the peak of the map? (The cap to the sky texture, or peak altitude you can possibly reach) I'm rather curious

The highest point I've found is just under 4100.

Yes, I used the first practice mission and flew from one end of the map to the other. To measure the time from one base to the other, I was already in flight and at top speed while I flew over the starting point, and stayed at a constant altitude to the ending point (flew in the straightest line possible, at constant speed).

I know many of my calculations were based on assumptions, but the one constant and reliable variable was the time measurement. Anything else can be changed to fit the circumstances around it.

That's perfect. I assumed as much when I pulled up the practice mission and saw the Airco at speed matched the speed you were using. I did the test the same way; flew behind the starting base, got to speed at bombing run height, then took a line over the base to the target base, starting the timer over the middle of the airfield, stopping at the middle of the target airfield.

I'll post again when I have a chance to try at the same speed in a server game.

Oh man! I wish I had sound on my work computer. I love that scene.

"Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!" I'm gonna have to watch that movie again.

When I shoot down all 44 M.O.Ms (Give or take a few ((From the official MOM squadron, not Embers of MOM or any thing else))) But 18 of them jump out of the plane, how many burning wrecks am I left with if I shoot Husky and Bilko in their parachutes then going on to wipe out the entire Misfits squadron (Your gonna have to count here)?
