They might win due to those few seconds while destroying a Zep.

1) Master your landing skills.

Its very helpfull.
No one tells to master the landing skill, but its very helpfull. Learn to land in any possible situation.

Many times we over shoot our landing an hence crash. The best thing to do is do a barrel roll turning your plane upside down, cut your throttle and then pull up as hard as u can. It will ensure a perfect safe landing if u master it.
This can also help to get someone off your tail. Its hard to get shot doing it. More over you can also get on their tail using it. In carrier missions--land INSIDE the carrier. See part 4.

2) bombing and shooting.
Develop your bombing and shooting . Best way to bomb is to fly low and drop it when a tank or a hanger is besides your mini map. Do NOT fly to low, or your bomb blast will destroy your plane. Do not release your bomb too late. As you approach your target, release your bomb just before you are over it. Angle of attack is very important here: It's best to fly in low over a hangar straight and level, release bomb just before you are over it, then pull up as you release the bomb.

Never ever use a tank in dogfight missions--they are pointless.
They are very useful in destroying hangars and getting hits on carriers, though.

The best shots are the long, head-on shots. The enemy is coming at you, and the playing field is leveled. It doesn't matter the experience level of either player at this point--you both have a chance. Practice your aiming! Let an experienced player get on your tail, or try to get on an experienced players tail--and you're in for trouble. Two factors: the experienced player can out fly you, and has a better plane.

3) long shots.
Try to anticipate the path of the enemy. When you are sure, aim a bit ahead of them and shoot on right time and dont stop. This will easily hit the pilot. This is called "leading your target."

4) Capture the carriers.
Never land on top of the carriers.
Land inside them . There are two openings try to master landing through both.
Landing inside the carrier will provide you with a great deal of cover. It is NOT a guaranteed safety spot, however. A good pilot can fly low behind the large carrier deck and shoot you inside. Some will go as far as to fly inside full throttle just for that "kamikaze kill." One other trick you can do is, while inside the carrier--switch your camera view to external. throttle up just enough to move around and taxi around the inside of that lower carrier deck. You just made yourself an even harder target.

5) bomb the hanger.

For beginners who want to gain experiance and points, pull up as soon as you take off and fly very high.
Pounce upon the enemy like an eagle and and bring them down.
Then use your momentum and reach the hangers as flying very low, almost touching the ground ( carefull donot crash ).
USE OF TANKS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IN THIS TYPE OF GAME AFTER GAINING SUFFICIENT XP WITH TANKS !!

6) DOGFIGHT !
Its the best of all.
If you want to gain points as soon as possible and level up quickly, then try to get an agreement from everyone to allow easily shooting them. Shoot everyone by turns . I doesnt matter who wins ( in the initial stage ). That way you will get good planes ,squadrons and stats.

7) Bring Down The Zep
Most of the new players don't realize that you MUST take out the engines first, even though the pop-up tells you to. Here are some good tactics:
Get behind the zep. Position your plane level and slightly lower. Set your throttle to about 30%. Start hitting the engines. Once you have the first engine out--take out the other. After that, everyone can begin to pop that balloon! After the engines are out and everyone is ready to fire at at the zep, the best way is the same as the engine technique--get behind, throttle back and keep firing at it. If reds show up--throttle up, peel off and evade or go after them.

finally we have : destroying tanks.

Its pretty simple.
Fly low, throttle back to about 50% and get behind them. Keep shooting short bursts while tracking them. You'll be able to take them out in one pass.
You always have bombs if you get too close to the ground and want to pull up.

I you are out of ammo, just try and crash on to an enemy plane.
( it works !!). That way you can get a kill.
OR you can fly back to the base reload , and start the killing machine !!

But the crashing thing is far more EXCITING !!
AND A LOT TIME SAVING !

Don't brag about your kills or your "deadly noob squad," or you'll get spanked by the Misfits, DDs, MOMs, Davy, Wig, Whip, and everyone else....just out of spite.
