I was even in that mission with Onsekone and have no idea how it worked, I've tried every bombing angle, placement and approach there is and can only hit one at a time. It does demand a shift in strategy; hitting from a tank is now much more viable than punching through eight times to get eight hangars. It isn't necessarily a bad thing, just different. I actually find BTB games to be about the same length as before but with a greater emphasis on tanking. I can see Manfred's point about players being more inclined to dump their bombs knowing the payoff is only one eighth of the way to a victory and a measly fifty points.
The hangars themselves do look great. As do the Duckwing monument(s), the tavern town and the placeholder Jolly Roger, though Gmoney's version (with the crate full of empty bottles you've already added) would be just about dead on.
The most dramatic change I'm noticing is the dicey servers issue. Since installing the update I've been able to get into Festubert only once, Messines not at all, Vimy is accessible but very slow and laggy, and all three frequently require me to bail all the way out of the game, kill other apps, clear the cache and re-enter the game from scratch just to get into a mission which I'm able to do maybe one out of every four or five attempts. .
So Wig or Whomever,
Since the update I saw an immediate degradation in performance. One immediate thing I notice is that if I hit the page key when I first spawn it will take 3 to 5 seconds to bring up the roster of pilots. I also have A LOT of pauses during play. I played a game right before the update and saw NONE of that.
So, is this due to the servers or the update?
I will say that I experienced the same problems two updates ago and it went away (with no new update). So, maybe there is a "burn in" time on the servers until everyone is updated to the same version? (Except for the Apple folks that don't really count anyway.)
