Truth be told, just keep looking up at the sky, any stargazer will tell you, you will inevitably see some strange crap. Its not unusual at all

The night that Kurt Cobain (a member of the 27 club) died, I was lying on my back in a field with a few friends, counting stars, and smoking Marlboro's we weren't supposed to have. (Boy Scouts who had snuck away from camp during the night... Nice huh?) We all saw some strange movement in a group of stars we were looking at. Very circular, and seemingly unnatural. That's as close as I've come to seeing anything strange in the sky. I have no idea what it was, or if we all just convinced each other that we were seeing stuff moving. We watched it for a couple of hours though. I still think it was neat, but I have no opinion regarding whether UFO's, aliens, or flying pigs are out there or not. Just a strange thing I watched one night and still remember.

(The I was drunk and saw lights circling in a field, considered shooting at them but didnt, and then the next day figured out that it was farmers leveling a field at night story happened a few years later... Not good, but funny in its own way. Kids, please don't get any ideas)

I keep my lenses even on phone spotless..it was a spur of the moment pic..period..i didnt see a dot and took a picture of it, i just took it for a wallpaper,the dot got bigger while zoom n cropping...i do keep my mint 1979 olympus om2n in the trunk..storm mite pop up.if it were dirt,the laptop would show a bigger spot,,not that..

I was stationed at Bentwaters/Woodbridge, Woodbridge side from 85 to 88....Lotsa stuff going on at that place at the time.... Even prior...... But hey I'm crazy....

I think we are foolish to look up in the sky at all those stars and think we are the smartest most advanced beings in the universe.

Too low for a sattelite..but it brings to mind of H.A.R.P( HIGH ALTITUDE RESEARCH PROJECT)...where govts can control the weather..a strange storm appeared 45 minutes after the pic.

Note that most cell phone cameras (and some DSLR's too) have built-in noise reduction and sharpening, so the photo you get is processed all to heck. Hard to gauge what the lightness is around the dark spot, since it could just be sharpening artifacts.

If you darken a few pixels in photoshop, and then apply noise reduction or sharpening, you'll see something very much like the halo in the cropped/zoomed photo. Can't really trust a cell cam for this.

Height is appx based on incoming storm clouds,i used noise reduc in laptop and sharpening has been applied..that hole goes all the way thru.. .the lightness is grey with white edges,light coming around a spherical object.The dark ring...?... oddly it looks like its looking right at me.

Height is a good estimation. Thats a cumulonimbus forming, the height of which cannot exceed the tropopause, located approximately 10,000 ft in the northern US latitudes
