Not sure who is who now lol.....Was just in a game with a lower rank player and was surprised on well he played. I usually let my guard down a little for lower ranked players. Now that this questionable player shot me down in a chase I will have to keep my guard up no matter how low of a rank a player is. I don't remember ever seeing this guy. He is an air commodore I think. Oh well... I probably should never let my guard down but I like to help the newer players....

Since yall have more than one account, I know you can answer this question. How do you log out of an account with an iOS?

GOOD FOR YOU DENT, it's a little of subject, but thank you for not shooting a team mate so he could tank!!!!!! I hate that, it's borderline, but I think it's dirty. As someone who struggles to master this game, in addition to the technical issues and glitches i for one appreciate the integrity

To switch accounts, you've got to make sure to NOT choose the "Remember Password" option when you first login. If you already have, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall, and uncheck that option.

Every time you come back, it will ask you to manually login. If you have different account, you can login there.

Boy its nice to c that name in relies. Another reason is ur a big prize to shoot ddown. I have flown with u for over 7 months and never once killed u. Except that one time when u where on my team but that dont count. U got in my way lol. Still sorry bout that. Well i Hope all is well with u and school and life. I hope to fly with u soon luna.

I also fly under different names. I have one that is classified so cant tell u that one but i fly as memorial, Cptn Blaze, Kestrel, razor626 and most recently Wingman. So i use alot of names for different purposes. No spying though. But i do help with reportings when i c it. I do change my name for some down time but not for llong. Kestrel becomes meat on the table when i enter a game and strangely everyone shoots at me first when red and blue walls meet. Im the first to go down lol.

Brings me to an incident this week where I was shot down by a blue plane (top 100 player) While I was going back to reload.
Definitely not an accident as there were no reds in the game.
Challenged the @rse hole on it and he did it because I didn't shoot him down so he could tank.
The guy is a total tool.

Nothing I can do about it, a 2 day ban won't change his antics so now I just quit if he is in game.


Oh, and I always fly as me just simple old BlueDane, I'm not clever enough to have 2 accounts. If I tried I'd break something

Dear Blue, I tried that same thing to deal with the SK'ers and NoNames all it did was made it easier on them. I now stay in game making them my main target and they normally leave the game and everybody else enjoys the game after that. Blue Max, Paul, Parrot, and many others were right. Stay and fight for your right to play.... You become better than they are because that's the only way they can play..... No skill needed.

Well I may have to rethink think how I've viewed this in the past. I have tanked teammates and had them tank me in BTC games. I didn't view it as dirty or cheap. Here's an example...

It was a 2 on 2 me and another blue headed straight for the red boat, encountered no reds. We both dropped bombs, quickly followed by the report of 2 hits on our boat. Blue #2 chats "hit me". I do. He tanks and I defended him from the returning reds. He lands the remaining shots on the boat to win the game.

Is this cheap? Dirty? I don't see it as clear cut. The reds could have done the same thing. They had the same option and opportunity.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not defending the strategy. I just didn't see it as wrong. If the general consensus is that it's bad form, I'll except that and refrain in the future.

I have also been in a blue only games and tanked and tanked others to end the game. I guess this is a victimless offense, but would fall under the same scrutiny.

EDIT: back in the original topic. If I requested a tanking and someone refused or they requested and I refused, I wouldn't except that as cause for verbal abuse or ridicule.

Here is my 2 cents lol.....I don't see an issue with it. I have shot down my own team mate (at their request) so that they can become a tank. It could be considered strategic. No one has ever complained about it in the early days. Now that I think about it. There was very little complaining in my earlier days. ( just the normal complaints.)

Yeah, I've asked to be "tanked" couple a times. It was mainly in those low numbers games (3 or less players) so after each of us dropped a bomb on the carrier, it was either

1) Make the long, boring arduous trip back to reload with no opposition to make it challenging
2) Sit around, fiddle-fart & wait for the reds to show up
3) Tank and get the game over with
4) Hitting quit and loosing a few points

Of all these options, my deductive choice would be 3

Thanks parrot and Jackson. My issue isn't the act. It was the verbal abuse for not wanting to do it. The verbal abuse was rather harsh and included other things. I tried to calm him down. Didn't work... He knows he was wrong.. I got a glimpse of his response when I finally said....... I'm Dent you a@@.. then left the game

Just to clarify my point...
I too have asked to be tanked to end a game and if asked, I will always consider doing it for others.

However, this "ball bag" decided i should read his mind and shoot him down without a request.
As my 6th sense was out for repair, I wasn't aware of his thoughts so bombed and turned for home,
15 seconds and 3 attempts later i was shot down.

His reasoning, because I didn't shoot him.
Even if he had asked and i decided not to, it's still not acceptable to hit me for it.

My opinion on team shooting in order to tank is this:

I don'tsee it as the worst thing in the world however, it seems to me that unless it's a game with perhaps two marshals versus two marshals it makes it awfully difficult for the newer players to compete.



I also see it mainly is this, if team shooting is illegal why is it right whether your teammate requested or not to shoot them down in orderto gain a tactical advantage.

It seems to me that every player deserves to gain whatever tactical advantage they can, however, it also seems to me that we should use tactical advantages employed by World War I aircraft fighter pilots not just advantages we get from the game i.e.using lag in order to shoot someone down, team killing in order to get a tank, or reducing throttle completely when someone is on your six so they crash into you, or any other advantages that we get just because the way the game is programmed, that wouldn't work at all if these were real planes or otherwise

On the other hand however it is just a game, so duty, honor, sacrifice, brotherhood, and camaraderie are not as important in the game is that would be in real life, or real warfare.

Although these things are important, and we all wish to personify them in our gameplay,it is not the end of the world if we take dirty Cheap or unrealistic tactical advantages in order to win the game it is just a game.

For me, and I would hope a lot of other players, I ask myself when faced with these opportunities for such tactical advantages, would I be able to take such advantage in a real plane World War II World War I modern-day jet or otherwise? And if the answer is no I try not to take those advantages nobody is perfect myself included but I try not.

However sometimes they're just irresistible a quick little spawn kill revenge on somebody that shot you down five or six times. Patrolling the airport shooting at people hoping to get a tank. Climbing high, as any of you who play with me, no I do quite frequently. These days i do it mostly in large games where my controls freeze.

So again to reiterate I think it's a little cheap a little bit dirty, to shoot a teammate in order to tank seeing as team shooting is illegal and there should be no exception, I also don't think it's the end of the world I don't think it's the scourge of this game or anything of that nature. I again applaud Dent for not doing so in order to gain a tactical advantage I don't think the game needs to be over that quickly anyway not in most cases

I do agree with parrot head in the sense that it's not clear-cut it's all up to our personal preferences. It's all just one man's opinion this one is mine do with it what you will

Dent, as you said, no one has the right to cuss or cause a fuss about a fellow blue team player for not abiding by that particular player's tactics. Last I heard, I am in command of my own tactics, the other player's are in command of their own tactics. No one has the right to shoot another team player for not obeying their order to shoot them down for a tank, that is a dimwit with a power trip. That should have been reported for team-killing on the blacklist thread!

I am not saying there is room for improvement, sure ask for help from fellow blue players by asking them to do a certain tactical play if you think it tactically advantaged to do so. If that player chooses not to follow your tactical play, then they should have that freedom to do so without being hassled, cussed at, berated, or shot down for it by other players. Last I heard it was a game to be enjoyed by all and not be commanded to do certain things.

To me that player ruined your play for that game, that is not acceptable! I would also like to stress, if those two players did it to you, they are guaranteed to be bullying other players. I say bullying, because basically broken down, that is what it is!
