I have its more practical little brother,the VW Passat.
I remember on top gear that when they were going flat out on the test oval they could only keep it over 200 n something for a few minutes before the tyres would give up the ghost.Work of art that motor.Sold at a loss to VW.

I managed to get the boss's bently continental gt for the day.Took it to 170 before i lost my bottle.It pulled like a train all the way from standstill and still had plenty left when i lifted off.(for law reasons i will say i wasnt on the public highway.Honest officer )

If that mono thing had been my mode of transport, for a lifetime, it must have labelled me excentric, unless I worked for a travelling circus, and was simply trying to keep up at the time. I've survived on it for so long, so I'd expect to be a wheel balanced man of taste. So the chance to slide into that beautifully crafted car would be taken for two reasons, 1: the paint jobs match, 2: who wouldn't want to?? l recon I would slide back out though, back to my pace of life. . Well I don't have a clue what the gist is now, thought this was the hypothetical question thread not the manly men one? my 2cv6 scraped me thru my driving test, got written off bouncing off a large road kill. I've got a 3.9 l V8 auto petrol Landrover at the moment, a real greedy cow, but she purrs like a contented tiger. I fancy owning an rs 2000 to rally it but spend too much time playing dogfight.
