Hi there,

As many know, I keep changing and upgrading services and servers so that connections are faster and more stable. The latest updates were the best ever but I want to know your opinion.

Have you noticed less lag since about 2 weeks ago? Are connections faster? Planes moving smoother? Hits getting counted faster and getting less "couldn't connect" messages?

I want to know your experience and from which country you are connecting in case there is something I can do to speed up that location.

Some games are great. No lag at all. The ones that do have lag it is terrible. You have to switch games or lose because you can't hit any thing. All in all I'd say the lag in motion is better than before but the planes are much slower.

The lag from the time you hit a target to the time it dies is terrible. It takes way to long for your victim to die. Usually enough time to kill you. You have to shoot and evade after they register as hits and wait for them to die.

The connection is way way better. I have the apple update. I may have lost conn 3 times since I updated. No couldn't connect messages at all. Less glitch games to. Every once in a while you get one but not as often as before.

I love this game. You have done a great job with it. Totally addicted. Lost conn or lag either one I'm hooked and stayin. Playing out of the United States Of Oklahoma.

Im in the NW USA on an iphone 4s.

First i should say thanks for your creation, which i love! As a licensed pilot i must say its very well done!!! I hope to play Dogfights 2 and beyond as technology progresses!

Lag occurences unchanged.
Unable to connect or lost cons are way down.

Today i hit this player about twenty times, and after about a minute got two kills out of it intantaneously. The whole time his plane was manuevering around smoothly. Pics of that:

Lost connection is a thing of the past! Thank you! I use an ipad4 as well and I am a real fan of the latest update.

I have experienced lag as described above. Hits register on screen, but target is unaffected.

The worst I have seen was somebody speaking Portuguese, I'm not sure if from Portugal, brazil or other.

Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

I play on a Motorola RAZR and a Samsung Nexus 10. Play from Texas (it's a country...just ask our governor).

Lost connection has happened once in last two weeks. Nice.

Lag is much worse for me especially on the nexus.

Also the nexus would crash a bit and this has been corrected.

Finally I can't seem to kill sky Davis. Please fix this. :-)

I play on an ipod 4th gen and a optimus L9, lag is extremely rare,almost never now, but i do loss connection during game, still rare though, maybe once every 10 games. Bullets count immediately now. 2 shots in may go down. That is a plus. I dont get shot down after i shoot their plane 7* .

Overall i love this update. There is going to b problems, its just technology. And im fine with that. The update is amazing

No "lost connection" or "unable to connect" anymore. Still have a decent bit of lag on kills, hit twice and wait. Sometimes I get bullet holes when I spawn after being shot down even though there is no enemy in sight. But the biggest problem I am having is that I cannot recalibrate so I have to hold my phone tilted about 15° to the right to fly level.

Less lag overall, but when it does happen it is freaky weird. Bad acid-trip weird (not that I actually know what that's like or anything ... I mean it's not like my nickname in high school was "Reverend Jim" or anything ... ). Midgets speaking backwards weird. Quantum non-locality weird. Barking rabbit weird. Menacing clown weird. Fraternal twins who look exactly alike weird. That weird thing that happened to me that time in Sedona once that's too complicated to describe but it involved native american flood myths, inhuman snoring, and projectile vomiting weird.

Oh, and the kill shot through the re-spawn wormhole is weird.

Oh, and the flaming plane is back.

I don't get lost connection anymore. Lag is random games and at random times of the day. Doesn't happen often but when it does its real bad. I've had some players tell me when I ask that I'm the one lagging so I leave the game to try and make it better for them. I've seen games where one or two players have bad lag while everyone else seems fine. I still get the bullet holes and sound when I get hit. Over all I think the update has been good and I know you work out these other issues!

I haven't seen a lost connection or server full in two weeks. There is not as much lag. Some games are lag free. Most games have at least a few laggers. Sometimes their lag is significant. I played a game a few days ago and there was a 20-second lag between the time I filed an enemy with lead and the time he blew up. Overall, the game is better, so thank you! I play an iPad 2 in Woodstock, Illinois, USA.

I know I already had a bite at this apple, but I thought of something else. Spawn crashing. If 2 or more people spawn at the same time or even close, at least one of them crashes. I have crashed as many as 4-5 times almost instantly.

My last gripe for now... The tanks are significantly different. They roll way too easily. I rolled one the other day making a turn on level ground. You now can destroy yourself. Maybe this is a good feature, but the tolerance is too tight. If you shot another tank as far away as 2 tank lengths, you die too.

New graphics rock! Less obstructive tracers are awesome! Planes fly much more smoothly. all in all, its a great update. Y'all are doing a great job and I appreciate the continued work on the game.

Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

I have to devices ok

iPod4) when I get in game I take the throttle up and tak off and no matter what I do it flues left and crashes into the building. I can't get in the sky.

Ipad3) When I take of my plane flies down. I have I lean forward an I look as if I was drinking upside down when I have he hiccups. Once I finish my back kills me but I am able fly but it's hard and I can't aim properly. My kills register though that's good when wig and I'mnotwig and Wigisawesome and all of those M.O.M

I think it needs work

O I have tried leaning back when I start so when I put it normally it goes haywire worse than the iPod it does barrel rolls and turns round in circles.

I am in Australia

@Digby you need to calibrate the game on settings/controls, it seems you have it calibrated to a weird position.

About lag: for what you told me, most of lag happen when someone from a random location shows up. This is why you hit that someone and it won't register for 20 seconds, because the other player didn't get the message yet. Sometimes this is impossible to fix since it may be that he is playing on a subway or wherever with a crappy connection but other times it is just that they are on the other side of the world and there is a server lacking in there. I'm trying to figure out these last players.

I'm also working on a panel with a list of locations and the connection speed you get on them, that way you can pick the one that is closest and fastest to you.

No connection lost or server full.
The lag seems worse at times.Planes dissapearing and hyperflying across the sky.Bullets sprayin from enemy.Inability to hit targets even though your shootin through them.
Some players are still faster turning in identical planes(sensitivity full).
server gets crossed missions like bring down zep taking off from a carrier on 100%.
The android update on the 3 feb was smooth tilt motion then the update 5 feb made it judder again.
Where are the servers currently?Do you have an address i can ping?

I have had lost connection in the past to weeks, on wifi and cell network. Planes and tanks flip over to easy. I miss the bullet holes in the windscreen. The plane seems to be much smoother though and that is nice. I have also noticed multiple hits on another player before bringing the down.

In Oklahoma, USA, use iPad I. Notice considerable lag since update, more frequent, more pronounced. Fewer lost connections...still happens but pretty rare. Still adjusting to handling issues. Plane sometimes feels like flying through mud, tank handling is touchy, and manoever on the boats is much trickier than before update. Overall, I'd say the update is a significant improvement despite the glitches and the fact that I continue to die constantly...8 on a 10 scale!

Nothern VA, the backbone location of all high speed servers, with a supersonic FIOS connection directly to the mothership, and I still notice insane lagging from when I shoot down the red to when the hit registers as a kill.

My biggest pet peeve is the crashing upon spawning..atleast half of all my crashes are from spawning

I do feel the games gotten better compared to the last server but still has those disconection problems.
In the 5 games i was in, players still went missing as if a ufo abducted them. I too was a victom twice.
But overall i belive ur heading in the right direction.
