I think all of you are missing the point of the thread.
I'm going to refer to what Slenderman had explained in another thread about being a good person:
To become the "Person of the Month", I'd imagine a person would have to be helpful, understanding, and kind.
Being "kind" means to do good deeds, without wanting recognition or reward. You don't need to be a 'mod' to do this. The way I see it, arguing about who does nice things more than another totally defeats the purpose.
To be "helpful" is to post useful, insightful, or informal threads. It means lending a hand to others, even if they haven't asked in the first place. It DOESN'T mean spamming, bashing, derailing, flaming, arguing, etc.
To be "understanding" is to consider other people's thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Not everyone is going to agree with you 100% of the time, and that doesn't mean you should lash out at them. Use your good judgement.
And in the end, you do these things, not for recognition (votes, karma, etc.), but for self-redemption. The "good-conscience" feeling.
Think about this, and stop being "nice". As Slenderman said, be kind.
