I'm a piano player by heart, music is my hobby. If you don't call that a hobby, I do like model airplanes. I don't have any pics though.

EDIT: I also water ski.

Could keeping fast cars be considered a hobby?

An expensive one. I'm down to one and it costs.

Accoustic guitar, flute, harmonica, was my hobbies. Now, my main hobbie is messing with an old notebook (a pentium II with floppy drive running Windows 3.11), and old, useless software for that platform (read "games").
I love old games: The Lost Vikings, Alone in the Dark I, II and III, Bad Mojo, Tomb Raider I, Outcast, etc.
Well, at least while Laura is sleeping, cuz SHE is my time-consuming-joy now... ;-)

I've got a new hobby. Finding a damn fighter plane combat sim thats made for high end phones and works..... Hot damn I found one! We're getting new choppers, fixed wing, free roam, and JETS!!! Also online combat missions. Dev says he'll have them here soon. The combat scenarios will evolve around the Vietnam conflict. You'll need a high end phone like my Note 2 to play or an iphone thats got the latest ios. update. Custom android rom users can forget it. I can't wait for 8 core androids with 6-7 inch screens. My 5.5 screen seems small already.

I play once a week in a sort of shed full of musicians who somehow mould a jam together with the aid of a full sound system. I can play the trumpet, trombone, flute, harmonica, lead, rhythm/lead guitar, sax, drums, vocals, bass, zither, shaker, tambourine, trombone, didgeredoo, fiddle, chaos pad, keyboards, bongos, djembe, tablas, triangle, zilawotzit (EDIT: spoons) and fairly badly. Alto sax is my favourite choice but I own a trumpet and a few acoustic guitars. I try to write my own songs, I cant read music so I make it up or copy from tab to learn the moves.

I whittle wood. These are made from Birch and Hawthorne sticks. The Swiss Army knife 1" blade is all you need and to know how to keep it razor sharp. It helps to draw a rough outline of what you intend to create, onto the stick, as an initial guide, then start removing ever smaller shavings, following the gain, to achieve the end form.

Sorry about the delay. The fedora thing is kind of a crafty fun hobby. As a chrome dome, I need a bit of sun cover. Fedoras have become my go to. I'll hit eBay and look for vintage fedoras that are in need of repair. I'll replace sweat bands and ribbons give them a good cleaning and we're good to go. Just takes a bit of patience and a slight ability to stitch. I still have a lot to learn, but there is a bit of pride there. I'm up to about 15 hats. I'll need to offload a few here shortly.

Good luck.

Hats find you, but I can't resist if there is a fedora up for grabs!
