Rough night last night, Andrea dumped about 4 inches of water on us and my neighbors living room was a wading pool. We literally had sand bags in her living room directing the flow of water to the sump pump and had to rip out her carpet and padding.

Oh man, sorry to hear that! But was very nice of you to help her out. Can't imagine having to deal with that alone! I hope all is well and everyone is alright.

Sorry BH but I lost wifi. I am back. As for advice that I am in need of. I am in the midst of finals week. Yes I am in my mid forties and in school. I guess you could say that going to college is how I am dealing with my mid life crisis. I do not have the time or energy for a new red sports car or some blonde who is old enough or for that matter friends with my daughters. Yes I am stereo-typing. Any way I have a final paper due in anthropology. I am discussing the pros and cons of the development of early human societies and how that development has had an effect on our current society. Everything I have been reading and researching has led me to one conclusion and it is this conclusion that bothers me.

I am an ex-submarine sailor who has taken the battle to the sky.

There's nothing wrong with going to school later in life! GOOD FOR YOU! I went back to school (again) in my mid-30s. I found it was 100 times easier since by then I had learned to juggle one million things at once. So, going to school full time and working full time the 2nd time around was a breeze (kind of).

I'm sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for the conclusion.

But Jack, STRETCHY PANTS are the problem. Of all the wonderful innovations we as a species have accomplished all I can think about some times is where to find the most comfortable stretchy pants. What color do I get, with pockets or not, full calf or half calf, what material is the best and is that determined by climate or social norms? Are people who wear stretchy pants to Wal-Mart placed in the same category as those that wear their pj's to Wal-Mart during the middle of the day? And when did the term stretchy pants originate? Back in the days of my youth-good led zep reference by the way- we called them tights. So many questions. Oh well I guess I will trudge on and maybe kill some reds through-out the day. Oh and wait till ask for some advice about my philosophy paper that is due also.

I would suggest getting stretchy pants that have a lycra/spandex blend, preferably with dry wick. You're always safe getting black. And depending on the weather, you can choose to wear full length, capri, or even booty shorts! The great thing about wearing these particular ones I speak of is that they are most commonly worn by athletes. So, even if you're wearing them for the wrong reasons, you can look like you're wearing them for the right ones. :)

So fuzzy left the Misfits  but dogssgirl just made him a banner that he asked for..not very nice fuzzy. She spent her own time making the banner. Sorry for that dogssgirl. I'm clicking the invisible lower karma button now...I don't have to wait 6 hours for this one.
