I left TWC a few years ago. Like you metion I was having problem after problem. Then they had the nerve to raise my rates.
Switch over to Verizon Fios if that is available where you are. I mean seriously switch now. That goes for everyone. Drop whatever service you currently have and make the switch. The difference between the services are like night and day. Very rarely do I ever come across an issue with Verizon and if I do, it gets resolved quickly.
Also if you do and you go with the 3 in 1 bundle (tv, phone, internet) try to find a deal on it. Do not pay more than $99/month, well that's actually the rate here in New York. You may even find a lower rate and this rate should be good for 2 years.
I'm happy with their service so I thought I'd share that info with you all.
I feel your frustration with TWC. I hated them. Something was always going wrong. Plus Verizon's internet is better even at their basic package.
