It just takes a little time to go through the recruiting process...how long have you been a recruit now? Normally all of the officers like to fly with you a couple times before they make a decision.

Your in second last lap of the biggest race of the year you have to be patient and wait for the right moment to make your pass , if you get impatient and make your move too soo you could blow the whole race, but if you wait for that right moment you can make the pass with ease and cruise to victory.
