Welcome to all you new recruits!

I've flown with and against many of you and look forward to more. Thanks for your interest in our odd-ball squad, we are, after the Misfits! I am not an officer and so I am not a part of the recruitment or evaluation process but I will be glad to help out in any way I can.  I encourage you to make time as the games allow to do some circus flying. (Goofing off, without trying to shoot anyone down) . It doesn't happen often enough for my liking but when it does it can be a great time.

Circus flying usually happens in dogfight free-for-all's and particularly when it is called by someone who has a large lead in kills. Not everyone will recognize a circus flying session so they are even more precious when they happen. If you catch someone calling for a circus session it is commonplace to hold your fire and meet over by the bridge.

I've learned by watching and then doing my own tricks of spiraling through and around the bridge. There are so many different maneuvers you can hone in when you have the confines of the bridge as a reference. One of my favourites is to practice turning a 180 yoyo by flying through the trussed section coming out the other end and doing a sort of a hammerhead to go back the way I came. I'm sure you can use your imagination to come up with exercises you can do to improve your skills.

To practice shooting I often shoot for a slalom of trees. If you need to practice head ons and bombing I highly recommend practice mission 3.

As for the recruit challenge, please take it easy on yourself. It is not easy but it is in no way impossible. I've just recently watched my kids go through it. Perseverance is the key. Work on knocking one of the officers at a time. They are not untouchable. The challenge is a great way to push yourself and it will be all the sweeter when you make it.

On the other hand, some pilots decide to go in different direction either because they don't fit with us or we don't fit with them. No worries.You'll get no hard feelings from me. It's a pleasure to fly with or against skilled, fair players no matter what squad they fly with or if they should choose to go solo.

You get what exactly, that my time and effort that I have experienced on this game means nothing. I have busted my butt to better myself flying the lowest rank planes to the planes I have earned without buying points. Earning my skill the hard way, getting shot down again and again by better players. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

I am sorry for not being around yesterday, I was in bed all day sick. Stomach bug, I was sick for 29 hrs. Couldn't get out of bed, for more than a minute or so. I felt like I got run over by a truck. Lost 10 pounds, still a little weak. But I'm gonna try to fly.

Drink a lot of Gatorade it will help get your electrolytes back in order and make you feel better quicker. I'm serious!

First game of the day was...ctc I had a great game after it though. 2v5&6 through most of it & 6 at the end (of course no one would switch), & every time 2 reds would leave 2 would show right back up. There were just too many for us, but I got my highest kill game to date & even bombed their carrier once. There was some hard fighting for a while on just one cup of coffee!!!!!

That sucks. I got the crud in Turkey on my last ONW deployment. Sorry for the visual, but I was like the popular girl in Kick-ass 2 when Hit Girl hit her with the sick gun. I was completely out of it. I didn't know how bad it was until I came back to the tent from the latrine & realized that I was only wearing thermal drawz with no pants. That was about the sickest I've ever been. Hope you're out of it.

Got to fly against JD this morning. I would've expected someone who has been through what he has to be pretty rusty. I can tell you from the number of planes I had to trade in, he's NOT. Great flying with you JD!

Great game tuck that was a blast it was great flying with you ur one heck of a pilot, I was getting team killed at the by the tuff which made me mad so I kind of forgot about everything else but any way awesome game it put me over 6k kills woohoo

Dry I wasn't around much yesterday I was bout an hour away from home from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm then at 2:01 pm I got grounded untell the morning

Age question: Had the same talk with a couple of other M's a few days ago. My kids (3 of 'em) are growing up, and I started to shave - sometimes twice a week... But I'm young at heart and spirit.

I believe your a year my JR if i remember right, not sure though..... old age the first thin g to go is the memory, or is it hearing? sight? bugger, cant remember! piont is age doesnt matter its the spirit of fight that counts!! or is it age doesnt matter its the milage..... hope not i have high miles
