Hey all. I played a game with I guess a Newby...goes be Traluxvel. He is interested in becoming a Misfit. He says a lot of good players (well I couldn't agree more). He said he will create a forum acct and come by to say hi. I don't know much about him...so, im sure we will all see him in the sky. I told him we'll look out for him.

Well, had a pretty good game..even though we lost. I couple of our hangers were taken out just as I joined. I worked with only one other blue for most of the game 2-6...then toward the end we ended up getting a 3rd person for help. The rest of our hangers were taken out by a sneak...I'm sure that you can guess who that is just by looking at the large death to kill ratio. It's tough to take out the sneaks with just 2 against that many... but we did..we held them off. Oh...man, arkangel is tough to hit..but, I can say that I did contribute to his death number lol.

I want to see that blue dot again!!

Good Morning MisFits! Let see if Sgt. York can have a better day later today. Perhaps some of my new Misfit friends can explain some things to me!!! I started a bomb arpt game yesterday and was quickly joined by some fellow named "HeckenShultz" or maybe "HeckenCrap?" Whatever. Apparently, he didn't care to fly with me so he switch to red. Well Hell! He then proceeded to kill me at a rate of about 20-1! Ask Torn! He witnessed the whole bloody mess I spawn back in and go after what I think is a smoking red tank. Which I blast 10 times!!!! Well turns out it's some red moron smoking, lying flat on his back and blowing me sh**! GET HIM OFF THE FIELD! He keeps showing up in my rear view mirror!!! Somebody finally said, "quit shootin him York! He's Dead!"
THEN!! Two games earlier (carrier game) Having just ponied up for the Alb DV and speeding it up, I get over there and half the water is still black. What? Are we bombing the Exxon Valdez still?? Against that backdrop the reds look like tennis shoes hanging from bill boards.. Didn't stop them from shooting at me? Finally these two red noobs show up shooting at me, all the while clattering back and forth about how great things are, and zipping by me in Fokkers with the flying profile of a P-51 Mustang!!!!!!!!! WTF OVER! Now someone has to straighten me out on this stuff or old Uncle York is gonna go back to the nursing home and see what Angry Birds is all about!!!! P.S Yes I got the upgrade!

I think he is just trying to aggravate people. Wouldn't want him on my side because he is just taking up space. We (blue) eventually won that game. But does this upgrade take more time? I was in a dogfight game yesterday in a Newport, it had a blue dot in the middle of it. Flew better than ever it seemed. Then after getting shot down, I took a tank for practice. It also had a blue dot in the middle of the top of the turret and handled a lot better than tanks usually do. What's the deal. I play on an iphone 5...Sgt. York

Plur is the best camper in the game. He camps out, starts a campfire fixes a bite to eat, maybe some marshmellows, and shouts encouragement for everybody but his team. Now show me another camper who is that much fun to have around! He won't even claim to be protecting his bombers!

Or, that is, I don't understand what is going on with the game itself. Is it upgrade issues? When will the black water go away? That kinda stuff..........York

I think he gets shot alot by Misfits...including myself. He typed, "oh crap, misfit" when i join bed a game Saturday. The reds lost that game and Misfits lived up to their rep. I posted his remarks and game that day....at least i think we won.

Was in that game with you [M]antyhose here. When we started that game, it was 3vs.1 the 1 being Davy Crocket. Hecken switched to even the odds. I was about to do the same as to give all a fair chance at an even playing field. In fact you will see a lot of Misfits jump around from side to side to help out an outnumbered player, depending on who it is.

No one likes to see a newer guy stuck out there by themselves, yet it happens and most would exploit the advantage. Then there are those like Davy that we just like and would prefer to play fair and I would switch to help in an unfair game. Let's not forget the most important part, if it's a fellow squad mate, we all switch to help out our own who is outnumbered. Again let's also remember, that if a game is even, stay put and play. This the action I believe Hecken took, trying to make it a fair game and nothing more.

As for pluribus, all I can say is this. When you see him as red, shoot him down, he will give up and complain. There is no hope, what's the use etc. Don't waste time on him when he just sits in the game smoking. Although annoying, he will just sit, however keep an eye out and note his position. If he disappears on the next run, check leaderboard to see if he's in the game. If so then most likely he will sneak high or go all the way around the map.

I have just a few things to add concerning the updates and the operating devices that we all use. Apple sucks. Apple has had issues with it's system with each update for the last year that I'm aware of, I was unable to play on my iphone for 3 month's due to an update and refuse to play on another Apple device due to the issues.

I have found that Apple's once great reputation to provide the best to those who own Apple products, died with Steve Jobs and they're unable to fill that vacancy. Updates are always released weeks behind other systems. When you finally get the latest, we are one or two updates ahead. This blows the synchronization of the game out of wack. Lag, glitch, whatever you want to call it.

Windows has exposed us all to a system who's processors make ours look arthritic and again allows those players to exploit the advantage or at times have the dis advantage.

My advice after all this babble is simple, be patient Sarge. Enjoy the great games and blow off the bad ones. Don't get caught up in an exchange of insults in a game, oldest ploy out there. If they upset you and you show it, they will exploit it. You no longer become a threat to the reds, just a liability to your teammates.

Thanks Man: Sounds like sage advise. I can live with it if apple sucks. (I do like the iphone tho), I just am glad to hear it is my equipment problem and not an operator problem! (although I'm sure there is some of that involved). I suspected as much the way people have been zippin around. It is just good to know that I might be playing with a handicap that isn't associated with my age! Knowing this, I should be able to take it all in stride! At risk of sounding whiny here...

Have any of you had games where your shots just will not hit where you aim? I'm not talking about lag or inebriation here. I'm talking about having games where you are consistently nailing the kill zone and you rarely hit someone. This has happened to me a few times now and mostly with a few certain players. Sometimes I seem to be able to change where I aim and get a few hits but it's not consistent. Note that it is not impossible to hit these guys, just harder than anyone else. I'm also taking about steady head on shooting.

I actually suspect that sometimes some players (or at least their hit zones) are actually smaller, kind of like the different sizes of the name tags. If, for example, someone's dimensions were 1/2 of other players their hit zone would be 1/4 the normal size. This seems to be on par with the unusual advantage some reds seem to have.

That's happening a lot, im in the kill zone but hit nothing but then he shoots me down easily.

Or the problem I have is I will shoot the person down and then he shoots me down, he's not in the chute yet

Or I will hit someone twice and then turn away thinking he is dead but he's not and I get shot down.

It's hard to even get a 2 to 1 i kdr lately
